Labyrinth Rogue Angel Alex Archer Books
I've been reading this series from the beginning, and while I loved it before, it seemed to get stale as it went on- I don't know how many times the assistant writing staff has changed but it clearly has been a varied number with the character personalities undergoing several transformations...Annja had in the past gotten too tough, inhuman, and unrelateable, but in the past few books it has started to change. This one is a real turning point. This one is amazing, a complete departure from the others in that not once did I want to slap Annja or even shake her! Gone is the cold, "tomb-raider"-esque girl that fears nothing. That said, it isn't just the characters but the story. This one was incredibly well-written in such a way that you can actually picture events unfolding in your head, and most of the things that happen are surprises you don't see coming. I can't emphasize enough how great this story was visually. Not once did I just hope the end was coming, and for once, I genuinely liked the other character, or the other hero in the story. i would hope he would be brought back in the future instead of discarded like so many of the boring men Annja has gone through...

Labyrinth Rogue Angel Alex Archer Books Reviews
Another great story in the Rogue Angel series. Labyrinth had twists and turns throughout. A real page turner, I couldn't put it down.
Incredible... The ending to this book was more that I was ready for! The whole time I'm wondering when Roux and Garin are going to show up.
Typical Annja Creed adventure. That being said I enjoyed the read, it just wasn't one of the better books in the series.
I started reading this series while I was sick. Before I knew it, I had started buying the series five books at a time. I just downloaded the March 2013 book, and look forward to reading it.
The book was good as most of the books in the series. I think it should be rated in the middle of the pack of the Rogue Angel series. I enjoy this series, I would like to see the series and characters develop as the series continues, however each book is different. You can read book 1, and go to book 35 and not miss anything in the character growth.
Annja gets forced into a Labyrinthe, supposedly to save a man's life. When in truth it was set up so the old man could watch her die, in pain and alone. Over and over again she continues to survive, in spite of the deadly puzzle. The man with her learns to admire her for her ability, and ends up helping her. Then it occurs to her that all is not as it was meant to seem, and she begins heading for the old man, to kill him. Not only does she emerge from the deadly game, but she and her friend subdue the man who put them there to die. Excellent book! But what is she going to do when she finds out Roux put her there?
I usually like the ghost authors who write the Rogue Angel series. The author of this novel is Jon Merz who has written the successful Lawson vampire series and whose work I usually enjoy. This book is slow moving and not up to the usual action packed stories one normally enjoys with this series. Overall a three and I found myself skimming a great deal of the story. I appreciated the twist at the end, which I will not spoil for other readers.
